Look what I found when I got up this morning…those dolls had gotten a head start on the day’s tasks….
Can you guess what they are making? Hope it isn’t soup, they might spoil it since there are so many cooks 😀 It has apples…and sugar…and cinnamon… it’s…..Applesauce! yummy!
“Nellie, can you put in some more cinnamon, Please?” called Samantha.
” Coming right up!”
(Isn’t her apron cute? The “love beyond measure” design from Embroidery Library is so sweet. )
“Let me taste!” said Samantha….”Hey! you’re falling in! Be careful!” said Lanie.
“It is okay, I’m just trying to reaaaach” said Samantha. “mmmm…. yum!It tastes good!” she confirmed “maybe add some more cinnamon and it will be perfect”.
(Her apron says “season with Love” which design is also from Embroidery library. All the apron designs were shrunk down using the method described here on my other post.)
“What about more sugar?” asked Ellen, who had been reading the dietary information off the back of the sugar bag. (Her apron said “add a little zest“, which I thought was pretty funny since Ellen picked it. Seemed more like what Lanie would pick 😀 )
“I think it is just about right!” said Lanie. Bonnie also agreed it was just right. (Cupcake design on their aprons from Embroidery library)
I’ll leave them to discuss if it needs anything else. Nellie and Samantha were voting for more cinnamon as I left. I wonder what they will decide?
Now about some information on how to win one of the cute pink aprons? It is a great apron to make frosting and decorate a cake (see that story here) and also to make applesauce. I just love the pink and white trim…it came out so cute! What would your doll use it for? If you would like to win, just comment on this post. I would also appreciate anyone willing to share this post on facebook or follow this blog to continue to get updates on doll adventures or other sewing projects I do! 🙂 Thank you very much and hope you win! The giveaway will be closed on July 12th.

Put a big smile on this face, just what I needed. Also, made me feel a bit guilty, my doll is laying under my sewing table awaiting her pretty anything.

Your dolls look like characters in the fairy tale. While you are sleeping, they make delicious foods, clothes and shoes, do the dished and laundry, and mow the lawns.

I stumbled onto your blog and love it! Your dolls are so adorable, straight out of a storybook! I won’t have to stumble about to find you from now on, I also stumbled onto the ”follow” button 🙂 It would be nice to win the apron, my dolls would help me bake bread and muffins for Sunday breakfast. I’m not on facebook or I’d be happy to share. Your doll adventures are something I will be enjoying from now on 🙂

This messaage is from Emma- I love the cupcake design. I think my doll would wear it preparing red velvet cupcakes for me. And pink is our favorite color!
