In honor of Thanksgiving and baking, I asked readers to submit pictures of the pies they baked for us all to enjoy. The submissions were so Yummy to see!!!

I also had made a fall doll jacket I wanted to give away on the blog.Life happened. I never got around to posting it and now the Christmas season is starting. SOOOO I have decided to combine these two.

Here is the jacket! The design comes from Embroidery Library but it was a freebie that is no longer available (sorry!)

Without further eloquence, here are the delicious, lovely, scrumptious wonderful pies!! (which have all probably been eaten by now 😀 )

First we have pumpkin pie! mmmm, yummy! what would Thanksgiving be without pumpkin pie?? These pies were made by Leanna and she included her prize winning recipe for crusts. I can’t wait to try that recipe!!

Then we have a scrumptious looking pecan pie. Mmmm, one of my favorites. This one was made by Nancy. She included her recipe from the Farm Journal Pie Cokbook

Next, we have an apple pie with lovely design work on the top. So pretty!! This one was made by Allyssa.

image2.JPGNext, we have a cherry pie, so cute with the  cherry decorations. Made by Pamela, I believe this is the first pie she has made. Great Job! so pretty!!

Finally we have a pumpkin and a pecan pie. These were made by my friend, a very talented knitter extraordinaire,  Joni. She knitted a top for her pumpkin pie…how creative is that!!!
