Elizabeth is taking the Christmas cards to the mailbox.
She is wearing the new Christmas jacket for the giveaway this week! Elizabeth’s dress has very puffy sleeves so it doesn’t fit as well as it could. In spite of the fit, she wanted to wear it. Since it was getting chilly, I let her.
I wonder who Elizabeth is mailing the cards to? Bridget said something about sending one to her grandmother. Maybe that is one of the cards being sent out.
The jacket has a darling carolling penguin embroidered on the side. The sleeve and collar have tiny blue snowflakes embroidered on them. It fastens with snaps not buttons which hopefully will be easier for little fingers to manage 🙂
To enter the giveaway comment below and say…ummm lets see…How about commenting and telling us if you send out Christmas cards. Confession, I don’t usually 😀 sometimes just one or two handmade ones 🙂
Thanks For Reading!

I love to send cards! This year I made quite a few handmade ones, using up the stuff I had on hand. I believe I sent out 35 cards total. I love your mail box!

Some years I send cards, some years . . . well, time gets away from me. I have been known to send New Years or Valentine cards instead. 😉

No, I don’t send out Christmas cards. Sometimes I hand out hand-made cards, though. I have quite a few I’ve made with my Stampin Up friend over the years. It’s something I keep saying I’ll do, but then the holidays are over. I’ve even signed and addressed cards and still never found the right time to deliver them or hand them out. 😳😏

I was lucky enough to have two very good friends visit for several days, and we spent most of our time designing and making birthday and Christmas cards. We met each other in the papercraft store many years ago and have been making cards together since then. We had a fun and productive several days.
I even got the cards sent! (Sometimes I get them made, but not sent out.) I mostly sent the handmade cards to my family (big family) and a few very close friends. Sent store bought (but pretty) cards to the rest of my precious friends. Whew! I am feeling accomplished because in my crazy life, that is a big deal! 🙂

I enjoy making Christmas cards and other cards, too. This year most of them went to a nursing home. They seemed to enjoy the cutsey designs . I also send to family. I always plan to make them in October and take my time, but lately it has been December. Still fun.

Yes, I always send out Christmas cards, however this year I didn’t send out as many as I was making Biblical costumes for my dolls. I used them as my Nativity scene.

Yes! I still send Christmas cards! We typically include a family picture, which is nice for those we don’t see often.
